End of the Line for Longham Quarry -
CASE CX210B Excavator Finishes the Job
A Case CX210B excavator was used to remove the final material at the Longham Quarry, near Poole, Dorset . The quarry, under extraction license to CEMEX UK, building materials supplier, is now being wound down after more than 12 years operation, during which time over 1.8 million tonnes of sand and gravel have been removed. |
Tough Groundwork Job for CASE Excavators In Southampton
The ground clearance work for new IKEA store is extremely demanding as virtually the whole area is an extremely thick and heavily reinforced concrete slab which can be anything up to 1 m thick. Working on the toughest section is a CASE CX350 excavator with a Furukawa F35LN breaker. |
THUMBS UP FOR CASE CX210B EXCAVATOR FROM IRISH OPERATORS
Contractors and operators throughout Ireland cannot say enough about the CASE CX210B excavator. Launched early in 2007, CASE said that it would completely change people's idea of what an excavator should be. Because the new model features the very latest in Isuzu engine technology CASE completely redesigned the hydraulics and transmission to maximise available power.

TIGHT QUARTER CLEARING OUT FOR CASE SKIDSTEER (PR No: 7020-IRE)
On a Dublin 7 steory demolition site, Dave Shailes, Demolition Foreman for Demoition Masters is using a 5 year old CASE 1845C skid steer to shovel the interior rubble into piles from which it can load highway trucks. Work started in October and the building will be down by the end of November. It's one of the oldest machines in the fleet but still more than up to the task. Demolition work is tough on machines and we have to have machines that not only have the load capacity but also the durability and ruggedness. |
ONLY THE BEST FOR PORTLAND STONE QUARRY (PR No: 7019)
Masonry stone from the quarries in Portland Island has been used for hundred of years and is a familiar sight on famous structures throughout the UK and particularly in London where buildings from St Paul's Cathedral to the very newest buildings feature it prominently.
A CX700 is being used to load a CASE 340B articulated dump truck, the very first of the new series to be used in production work in the UK. Load, haul and dump work does not come more demanding than working with a hard, abrasive material, in an extremely dusty environment, with haul roads that are narrow, twisting and feature a steep incline.

| COMPACT CASE There Is No Better Way (PR No: 7018)
CASE Construction includes within its large range of equipment several compact machines that are designed for tough applications. For instance, the range of skid steer loaders are recognized for their strong build making them the ideal solution on building sites, demolition sites and wherever versatility is required in a restricted working area.

| INDEPENDENT EVALUATION PROVES THAT SMALLER CAN BE BETTER
(PR No: 7016)
When CASE Construction launched the 21 tonne, CX210B tracked excavator earlier this year, they made many claims about the superior performance, higher productivity, lower sound levels and improved fuel efficiency.
To prove their claim, CASE gave independent evaluators access to two identical machines a CX210 and the new CX210B.
